Art and science are around us. Science and art are taught to people everyday. People use science and art in their everyday lives whether it is their job or they like to do it for fun. Science and art can be paired together surprisingly. Jonah Lehrer says in his article “The Future of Science …Is Art?” he says “It’s hard to believe that a work of abstract art might have actually affected the history of science.”(5). I know that is a broad statement and you’re probably wondering why I picked it. It gets you thinking about how the two subjects could go together. Things you wouldn’t think work together sometimes belong together.

Now everyone tells stories relating to their life or not and everyone tells their stories differently. People relate their stories to who they are and how it became apart of them which is what I do when I tell a certain story. Our narratives impact us and we tell them to entertain people or explain something to the. Julie Beck says in her article “Life Stories”, “In telling the story of how you become who you are, and of who you’re on your way to becoming, the story itself becomes a part of who you are.”(2). I do think that the story itself becomes a part of you. I say this because everyone goes through different things in life, good or bad. But no matter what the outcome or who was involved it will be apart of you because it happened in your life. On the way to becoming to me makes me think of all the little stories in your narrative coming together as one and making your life story.

  1. 1) Continue to work on showing your ideas. Your first TREAC uses a quote that appears as a reflection on a rather long-winded story about how a scientist used art as a way to see his work from a new perspective. Compare your statement with Lehrer’s rhetorical choices. Reveal your truths to your reader. Then you can analyze what those truths mean.

Your second paragraph does not seem to include either of our new readings.
